Recommended water temp entering dishwashers is 120 degrees. Hot!

I have an LG LDF7774ST that the instructions say to connect to cold water. I dug that because my dishwasher is so far away from the tank. I left it connected to the hot where the old one was. @16345Ed is right though, the vast majority of dishwashers have a minimum incoming water specification. I would look at the installation instructions.
