Ice Maker No Longer Dispensing Ice

We just moved into a new house and the ice maker was working when we moved in. Because of a mixup by the power company they shut our power off for 24 hours.

After that the ice maker stopped working. I wonder if it froze into one giant chunk and someone went to get ice and it burnt out the auger motor.

I cleaned out the ice machine after this (let it thaw), and it continues to make ice. It just won't dispense it. Any suggestions how we can fix it ourselves?

The fridge is a KitchenAid. The red light is blinking on the ice maker control. I tried to reset it by switching it off and turning off power to fridge and then back on, but no change. Thanks for any help you can give!

If you can include the model number we can look up your model and diagnose what’s going on properly
