LG Dryer DLEX3570V - replacement of filter and filter cover

I have the parts required.  LG Lint Filter - ADQ566564 and LG Lint Filter Cover - MCK49049101.  I have finished replacing the lint filter cover.  When inserting the new lint filter it looks like the filter extends past the top of the lint filter cover by ~1 cm on both sides.  Since the filter and filter cover are sold together I expected a perfect fit.

What am I missing???

Checked the part numbers at encompass parts, lint filter adq56656403 and lint filter cover mck49049101. Both have a note to check service bulletin.

Has anyone found a resolution to this problem? I’ve run in to this issue again.  Not sure what the resolution is. I spoke to someone at Marcone that said there was a note that said when ordering the filter cover, the front part of the filter housing and the filter all need to be ordered.  I did that and the filter still doesn’t fit.  Not sure what changed.  I’ve done this repair many times before and never had an issue.

We just ran into this problem last week and we had to order a different part numbers than what was listed. It appeared to be a part numbering problem. Although we spoke to Marcone and they quickly found the proper part that we needed.
