This machine would not start. It seemed yo be the door latch mechanism. What happens is, when start is pressed, it beeps 3 times and the start light flashes. I tried a new latch. It did not work. Any suggestions?

It's pretty common for these GE dishwasher to have an issue with the user interface that manifests in this way. I'm not aware of any good ways of testing if this is the cause, but replacing the UI will likely fix the issue.

FIXED...it was the service control board located at the bottom of the dishwasher. My reading tells me 85% of the time...doorlatch. 15% service control board on these GE dishwashers.
