LG Fridge no power after short power failure (Model lfd25860st)

We had a short power failure this morning and now there seems to be no power to my lfd25860st LG fridge. I unplugged it for a while, then plugged it back in and still no power anywhere, except for maybe the LED on the ice maker. Checked the plug, it is fine. When I do plug the fridge in, I hear a very quiet noise, again I think it's the ice maker. No power on the display, not lights when the door is open, no water from the front water dispenser (not even a sound of the relay when I try and get water). Power cable looks fine, circuit board looks fine front and back, no black areas and caps don't look enlarged or exploded.

On top of this, both of the lights in my fridge were killed during this incident. They were LED ones I purchased, so I assume whatever surge happened destroyed those lights (they look fine externally, they just don't work any more). I just ordered a new main board, what is the chance that this will repair things? Or was that power surge from something else which will fry my new board too?

I changed the main board and everything worked. Also, the main lights now work. So all is well for under $200.
