Have a frigidaire sxs the waterline in the freezer door is frozen.  thermostat is set as warm as possible, damper opens and closes to freezer replaced thermostat and problem continues,  waterline to door when disconnected at the hinge works fine, assuming at this point it may be poor insulation in the door but had seen somewhere there was a possible kit and service bulletin for this but cant seam to find it.

Any help appreciated

Typically it’s a breakdown of the insulation in the door that allows line to freeze. Replacing door is only true fix.

You can do a google search for Ice Surrender. It’s a little tool to clear the ice from the water line in the door.
