I've read that this is a common problem with this fridge and have opened it up twice now to install the adapter kit but have not been able to open up the clogged drain tube. I've heated it up with a hair dryer and tried to ream it out but its still clogged. Now the fan is starting to make noise again probably due to ice buildup.  Any hints on how to open up the drain tube so I can install the metal tab from the adapter kit to keep it open? Thanks.

You could leave the fridge unplugged with the door open for a day or two until the drain is thawed or use a turkey baser with hot water or something like this:

and then install the Samsung drain kit
