My washer will wash on the various wash cycles but move to the spin cycle. I can reset the washer and start a Drain & Spin cycle no problem to finish the load.
I cleared codes and ran the diagnostic.  When I checked the codes, only the sensing light flashed for most of the settings. Occasionally all of the lights would flash. There were no steady lights

Thoughts on what I need to do to troubleshoot?  Everything I google about spin assumes a mechanical problem, but since mine works on the Drain & Spin cycle, it feels more like control systems.

Thanks for your help

What codes were stored? That is the key to diagnostics.

I guess I should have just said there were no codes to start so I ran the diagnostic to determine what codes would pop up. Unfortunately it didn’t throw any codes after the diagnostic which is why i am puzzled

Ran calibration in the diagnostic mode then do a wash and observe when it tries to spin. Let us know what it does when trying to spin.

Ok will do.  Thanks Vance

Well, it looks like running the calibration helped it. We were able to run a light and a heavy load with both spinning properly.

I did notice that when you start a cycle and after the lid locks, it will be on sensing for about 2 minutes and it will repeatedly click, start to spin for 3 seconds, and then it will stop spinning. It does it 3-4 times. Is this the standard process for it to understand the load, balance, etc?

Thanks for your help

For some model it can just load size sensing.

Yeah I figured that’s what it was doing
