Kenmore HE3T circa 2001 (110.42934200) finally gave out.  No lights, no response.  Replaced door switch, no effect.  No click heard when CCU powered up, service manual states to replace CCU.  New CCU powered up momentarily, lights, but then went dark.  120vac getting to CCU, noise filter OK.  CCU to display unit harness had a couple broken wires.  Corrected that.  Measured 24vac at display board harness from CCU on all 8 connectors...is this correct?  Serv manual schematic doesn't have voltage levels.  Suggestions?

Update.  Installed 2nd new CCU.  Washer powered up in middle of cycle, clicked for awhile, then threw a F-DL door lock switch error.  It's a brand new switch.  Is there a method to troubleshoot these switches?

Did you use factory parts or knock offs? I have seen knock off parts from amazon fail regularly

Factory parts.  Found a video where a guy takes apart one of these switches, guess I'll try that.

Tried both a new door latch switch and my original switch.  Both checked OK, correct readings for the door micro switch and the solenoid.  CCU threw F-DL for both switches.  Ran diagnostic, same F-DL.  Confirmed the correct "short" signal at the CCU door switch connector.  Also checked the CCU-switch solenoid harness, good.

Appliance Parts Pros won't send another CCU, claim it must be the "harness".  Pretty much stuck...

To wrap this up, on a hunch reinstalled first replacement CCU.  It latched, but threw an F13, dispenser.  Found/fixed dispenser harness problem, likely caused by all the CCU troubleshooting.  20yr old Kenmore back to work.  Confirmed that 2nd CCU was bad.
