Hello,

I'm trying to help a neighbor get a rack for their oven. It seems that the original part has been superseded and the new item is half an inch wider.

The model number is LDG3016ST Serial number 105MMQH00260

They have made two attempts to order replacement racks and they have both been too wide.

The original racks were/are 24 3/8" and the superseded ones about 24 3/4". Too wide to fit into the oven.

Any wisdom in getting them racks that will fit the oven?

MHL63411403 is the new part number for the rack. The original part number is MHL61952101 and i've attached a picture of it. it has the two handles attached.

Thanks,

Todd

My supplier shows MHL61952101 as no longer available with no substitute.

encompass.com shows it as in stock.

Thanks for the replies.

The encompass.com link flips to the superseded part number as well.

The picture of the MHL63411403 doesn't' show handles. You may have gotten the wrong part in the box.

Running into this exact same issue now. Did you ever find a substitute or another brands rack that would fit your oven model?

My software tells me some close fits, but yours looks quite shallow front to back. Do those "handles"  wrap around a convection fan in the back, or does the left edge of your picture go to the rear and that's why you are thinking of the loops as handles? Do the handles have to be included in your solution?

If you flip your picture over and consider the left edge to be a "fence" to the rear and with your handles to the front, I imagine the handles are not really necessary.

My records show 316496201/FR to be 24 1/4"W x 16"D with rear rail humps or

WB48T10011/GE to be 24 1/4"W x 18"D with rear corner stops and front rail humps.

Look at pictures, hopefully one will work for you.  I'm assuming 24"W would be too narrow, but I also have records for that size.

Thanks for the help Dwschnelli. My customer and I looked into both of those parts actually. 316496201 seemed to fit well but did not have anything to prevent the rack from tipping over when fully extended, so not very safe/suitable. The GE part is too deep, as the oven cavity is slightly deeper than 16". I do really appreciate the help though!
