Asko Dishwasher is dead - Brand recommendations?

The old Asko Dishwasher is dead and the racks are so rusted out there is no point in repairing.  After we purchased the Asko we learned that this was a brand to avoid.

Are there brands of dishwashers you recommend or maybe just a list of brands we should try to avoid?

LG dishwasher is a good choice.

Hi Engineered Appliance,

My parents bought a LG washer and dryer and were very happy with it until they moved into a condo.  Any further insight on why LG is a good choice?  Reliable?  inexpensive to repair?  etc.?
