control panel part WB27T10295 .  I did hard reset with power from dedicated breaker for two minutes, powered back up.  LED display and circuit board did not reset.

Thinking of taking a look at board for blown capacitor or other obvious component failure and replace that part.  However, I would not be able to trouble shoot board with a voltmeter and schematic.  Are there any other ways I can try to reset the control board?  Is the best avenue just to buy a remanufactured part and replace.  $175 off amazon

Good chance it's just a blown transformer from the power surge.

You can check the primary windings of the transformer with a meter and if open and you know how to de-solder and solder and can find a replacement transformer, it would have a good chance of fixing it.
