Kenmore washer Model: 402.49032010, won't start unless I blow through drain hose to unclog...

I have a 2010 Kenmore front-loading washer that won't start unless I blow hard through the drain hose until I hear a gurgle of water+air (like I've cleared some clog). Then it runs fine, washes, drains all the water I can see. But it won't start a new cycle unless I blow through the drain hose again.
I've cleaned the drain filter in the front bottom-left, no sign of debris.

Is there a solution that doesn't require opening it up and cleaning or replacing the drain pump? Many thanks, if so!!

Any Error Codes?  If not then no. The unit needs to be taken apart and inspected. At best Service Entry could clear any codes that aren't making themselves present. But it sounds like visual inspection is needed.

Thanks for the reply, EngineeredAppliance! Sorry for my delayed reply.

No error codes.

The strange but good news: for now the problem seems to have resolved itself! Maybe whatever was clogging it finally got cleared just from me blowing through the drain hose? 🤞
