LG LMWS27626 French Door Refrigerator fresh food compartment temperature control issue

I have a fairly new, still under warranty, LG LMWS27626 French Door Refrigerator.  The fresh food compartment temperature control doesn't seem right to me, and I would like opinions on if I should contact LG for a repair on this.  I have 2 remote refrigerator thermometers in the fresh food compartment, one on the center of the top shelf and one in the center of the bottom shelf.  I check the temperatures after the doors have been closed for several hours.    In order to get the temperature on the top shelf to stay under 40F, I need to set the control to its lowest setting of 33F.  When I do that, the temperature runs about 39F on the top shelf.  On the bottom shelf the temperature runs around 35F.  There have been no issues with food freezing.  It seems to me that when the set point is 33F, the temperature should be colder than 35F.  Also, the 4 degree change from the top to bottom shelf seems high.  The freezer is holding temperature well.  Does operation like this indicate there is a problem?

Thanks

These temperature differences could be cause be air flow issues. Need to check to see if the vents are not blocked and item not packed too tight. The back of the compartment is usually the coldest and the door being the warmest area.

The air vents are not blocked and the refrigerator is not packed full.
