Electrolux Refrigerator - Water Drips from Dispenser After Dispensing Water

have an Electrolux EW23CS65GS1 refrigerator. I just replaced the paddle unit in the door with a new unit. Now after I dispense water, there are about 4-5 drops of water that fall into the tray and leave a puddle. My old paddle unit never did this. Any ideas on what is causing this?

There's a couple of reasons it could happen. The inlet valve might not be snapping shut, a new filter not being fully purged of air, or poor quality replacement part. Quality control on replacement parts has declined precipitously, even on OEM parts.
