What is this noise?

Can anyone tell me what the problem is based on this video? Our fridge is not cooling much anymore. It has made a sound (much more subtle than this) for a few months. Today it started getting very loud and the cooling stopped almost completely.

Video:

The sound doesnt seem to be coming from the fan. The fan spins manually with my fingers quietly. And, when it is plugged in, the fan comes on for a few seconds first very quietly. Then, the loud noise starts.

Sounds like an internal compressor issue to me.
