LG WM0642HW - Tub Clean Cycle timer stops at 1:13. Washer still continues to do something.

Hello, been a long time since I here last.  Like the facelift!

I have never run the actual tub clean cycle before but decided to try it out since it says it should take less time than my usual way of doing it.  Before now I would run it on a Sanitary cycle on hottest setting, second fastest spin speed, and toss an Affresh tab into the tub.

The tub clean cycle says it will be done in 1:27, however, once it hits 1:13 the timer stops counting down, and the washer just cycles between draining the tub, adding a little water, pause, repeat.  I am able to stop the cycle using the start/stop button but resuming it does not fix the timer.

Is it waiting for me to do something?  All other cycles work normally.

LG chat support suggested a "reset" by power off, unplug, hold start button 10 seconds, retry tub cycle.  No change in behavior.  I was told I need to complete three tub cleans for it to work.  Well, kind of hard to do when it doesn't know how to countdown after 14 minutes.

Not a big deal, but would like to know if this can be fixed since it should be faster than a full sanitary cycle.
