just a quick question, in what service manual can i find info on the maytag lat8705aae washer? need some service info, thanks,  buschman

thank you master of appliantology, but i was looking for a washer service manual for LAT8705AAE. thanks for your help. the manual i have only covers single speed motors, i would like info on 2 speed motors, thanks again.......

What makes you think the file I took great pains to provide the link for does not include your very model? :grr:

the one you sent is only dryers, the one i need is for a washer!

Now see, THAT is diagnostically useful feedback!  The two manuals are right next to each other, it was late and my eyes were slightly crossed.  Here's the manual you need.

thanks, i can see how to hook up a motor test cord on a single speed motor, but how do you hook up a test cord on a 2 speed motor. i don't want to make an expensive mistake. i know you "MASTERS" can probably do it blindfolded, but us rookies need some "SUBLIME" helpness.

Neutral to N, live to 31 or 32 depending on which speed you want, and live to 22 to get it going.

thank you ,it looks like i hook up 9 and 32 and 21 to 22 to test regular speed, does that look like it?

p.s. one of my best friends was from scottland, he came over about 6 years old, we grew up together and he stood up for my wedding.......
