This one will be similar to a Frigidaire upright freezer circa 2014 with electronic control

All i found was the parts list. Control module is 297366203. The beeping is probably high temp. Here is the defrost instructions:

Did a little more digging the defrost maybe this one:

Upright Freezer Manual Defrost

How to force defrost:

First turn the freezer off by selecting the"0" (OFF) setting.

The displayed number will decrease with each DOWN press of the temperature control button.

Once "1" is displayed, pressing the DOWN button three times within three seconds is required to change the temperature from the "1" setting, to the "0" (OFF) setting.

Then press the down key 4 more times while in the "0" (OFF) setting, to put the freezer into a forced defrost mode.

During the full 30 minute manual defrost cycle “d” will be flashed as a visual indication.

After entering the manual defrost mode, pressing the DOWN key 4 more

times will exit the manual defrost cycle.

Upon exiting the manual defrost mode, the control will assume the previous temperature setting.

Defrost drain iced up. Cleared it, but how do I now reset the E9 code? Will it do it automatically once the freezer cools down? Alarm itself could be silenced by Alarm reset button, but error code remains.

A good question, never seen any information on error codes for these. Does this one have a 9v battery?

Uploading and waiting on approval: Found the parts list, tech sheet and service flash for this model on the Electrolux site and information on thermistor that may be a problem with E9 code.Tech sheet already on site:

RF0804 Service flash goes like this.

If the thermistor is in an open or shorted condition the compressor will run continuously. Defrost mode after 12 hours of compressor run time will still occur. If an “Open Thermistor” condition is present the display will alternately display an “E” for 0.5 seconds and “9” for 0.5 seconds. If a “Shorted Thermistor” condition is present the display will alternately display an “E” for 0.5 seconds and an “8” for 0.5 seconds.

The thermistor was open. I tested it while trying to figure out what triggers the error code from the control connector behind the UI control that pops out. However couldn't find the thermistor to directly test it when I thought it was odd that it would be open, and had to be at my next customer, so I told her to monitor temps and let me know and that I'll have to get more info to reset the error. Thanks guys this info really helps.

Turns out red wire to the thermistor, at the lower door hinge harness bend, was broken. All other wires had the insulation broken there too. Also the above tech sheet 297246001 has the schematic with the digital control shown. Hard to find, all other Frigidaire All Fridge manuals I have show only cold control. Good to add "DIGITAL" to the tech sheet name when saving it for faster lookup.
