Bosch SMS50D08AU dishwasher intermittent heating problem

Hi all,

I have a Serie 4 Bosch dishwasher that for a few washes won't heat – sometimes with an E10 error – but other times works fine. I've inspected the heat pump and and tested all connections with a multimeter, all the readings are in the correct range.

As I can't seem to find the exact problem, I'm thinking just to replace the heat pump myself and hope for the best. Parts seem to be around $100. Just wondering if anyone can recommend any other testing I can do (the PCB maybe?) to narrow down the problem, in case I'm throwing away 100 bucks on a part that's actually fine.

Thanks in advance.

I've got one with an e10 also. I'm thinking of just replacing the motor.
