Help! GE PVD28BYNBFS Refrigerator returning Fault code 0200......having to defrost unit manually every so often.

Hello, I'm a homeowner trying to diagnose a problem thats been driving me nuts for awhile now.  First realized ice cream in freezer getting soft about 1-1/2 months ago.

Since then I've downloaded a service manual and figured out how to check temps in unit and view fault codes.

Fault code 0200 reoccurs which I gather is the defrost system is running for an abnormal time when the freezer evap coil tries to defrost.

I have had to move all food and unplug the unit and defrost it twice now.

The unit is in warranty but as I'm in rural area not getting much help so far.

Any help is appreciated!
