Frigidaire FWT449SW0 Washer drive motor - bearing replacement

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried replacing the bearings on a Frigidaire front load washer drive motor (p/n 131276200). Not sure if it’s doable - or should I just cough up the $300 CDN for a brand new unit. It’s for a 22 year old machine has that operated really well with minimal issues. Thanks

You could probably find the bearings no problem but the big thing is the motor drive pulley is pressed on to the shaft - I think you're going to find that there really isn't a good way to remove it and reinstall to replace the bearing on the pulley side.

The tachometer sensor wheel is on the other end - it maybe easier to take apart to replace that rear bearing but I've never turn one apart since there was no way I was taking the time to mess with trying to remove the pulley, (which is the bearing that has all the major load on it and probably is the one worn out).

Thanks Willie. That's exactly the information I was looking for - much appreciated!!
