Hi, I need some help. I have a GE side by side GE refrigerator Model# GZS22DSJBFSS with inverter compressor but the compressor is not running.  I have checked the inverter voltage and I'm getting 5dc volts requirement is (4-6dc volt) at J15 from the main board with plugged in and also, I'm getting 120v AC supply from the line. I have checked compressor windings and they all are the same value showing 7ohms.  So, I though it's a bad inverter and I replaced the inverter. but still compressor won't run. each time I plugged the refrigerator and I see the compressor move/shake little but won't run. Do I have a bad compressor or maybe locked? Or the main board? I have tried 2 new inverters but so far, no luck... Thanks.

I watched this video so many times to make sure I didn't miss anything, and I did not.

You may be able to detect a case ground with a regular ohmmeter; set the ohmmeter to its most sensitive setting(megaohm range)and look for a reading between a good bare metal spot on the compressor and one of the pins. Anything other than open is a case grounded compressor. Also how much current the inverter is drawing while trying to start the compressor would be useful data if you have an amp clamp.

Thanks for responding my question and issue. I just checked all 3 pins for grounding and all 3 pins are good and I also checked   the continuities between each pin, and they are good. I amped the compressor and it goes up to 1.26 amps and dropped back to 0.6 amps less than a second.

Still not sure what the issue is?

0.6 amps is low, but it's running. I would have a pro come check it. you may have a sealed system issue.

Thanks. I think 0.6 is for condenser fan and evaporator fan. Your thought?
