My washer goes through the second rinse cycle automatically even though the switch is set to one rinse. At first it would only do it on the regular wash cycle and I would use the permanent press cycle, but now it also does the second rinse after the permanent press cycle as well.  Which part do I need to replace?   Thank you!

I would be focusing on the 2nd Rinse switch for welded contacts causing the contacts to stay closed even when in the off position.

It would be your washer timer, because it's not only second rains, it also other options having problems, so if the timer not solved the problem, then go for main control board.
