Bosch SHS5AVF2UC/22 No control panel not working

I've been doing my own repairs for 60 years and this is one of the few times I'm stumped, and may have messed up. I removed the control panel so I could get to the back of the door pull to reinforce it - it was cracking and about to break. I plugged everything back in and reinstalled the door panel. Now, the buttons don't light up and the unit will not come on at all. I did check the power coming into the panel and it's good. I double checked all the connections and did continuity checks on the wiring and switch - all check okay.

I'm baffled by this one and can't imagine how unplugging the panel would have caused a problem. Any help on what to check next would be appreciated.

I have the exact same problem on the exact same model. Did you ever figure out the issue?
