Have model fghn2866pfd that needs  backordered thermistor 808137001. Had local appliance repair shop that I bought the unit from come out for repairs. Through Frigidaire tech-support replaced defrost thermostat. Two weeks later same issue and then again through Frigidaire replace control board. Kinda looking for someone that might know the values of this thermistor willing to search and cut in my own. I have been manually and overriding The defrost cycle   Unit is about five years old. Been dealing with this since late July.  Really don’t have much to lose before turning it into an anchor.  Any help or input would be greatly appreciated thanks

This has come in the repair forum of thermistor 808137001 being back ordered. One of the techs has successfully used 240597203 and a zip tie.  The post doesn't indicate if splicing of wires was needed.  The  240597203 is the fresh food and freezer section thermistor.

I'd be very interested in hearing whether someone was able to successfully use 240597203 in lieu of the back ordered 808137001.

Thanks for the info. I just defrosted last night get about two weeks before I have to do it again.  Just wanna make sure the thermister I’m talking about is the one that clips onto the  coil in the bottom freezer section. Found 240597203 in stock. Once confirmed that we’re talking about the same one will definitely buy one and give it a shot and let everybody know. Thanks for responding.
