GE Potscrubber GSD940-L-02 - timer advances, DW stops at about same place, often buzz and no drain

I mentioned recently I had replaced the drain solenoid with the plunger thing, I believe, along with inlet valve. Got wires messed up, so had to have repair person come out as my photo's did not show arrangement good enough, looks like I had them backwards. Was working great, then sometimes it started giving a loud buzz and not draining. Sometimes had to try a few times to get final drain.  Timer seems to advance, but them stop DW at certain places on the dial, and not start again until DW dial advances a lot. Is this necessarily the timer?

Is the solenoid or the motor buzzing?
