Bosch SHX68E05UC/13 Dishwasher won't start

Initially my dishwasher was having an intermittent problem starting.  We'd press START, close the door, and the machine would beep, but no red light would come on.  After several tries, the dishwasher would usually start.  Eventually the dishwasher would not start at all and I replaced the Main Control Board (p/n 00647877) and the dishwasher worked for less than a week.  Now, when we close the door the machine makes some noise  (like it's trying to start a pump?), then nothing.  When I reopen the door the display is often blank, but I can usually get the numbers back on the display by pushing the start button.  I removed the drain pump and checked it's resistance (88 ohms) - it spins freely.   I can also hear the water valve open momentarily.  Also, I have the control panel removed and changing the orientation of the control panel from upside down to right side up causes the machine to attempt to start.  I've attached an audio file for the sounds the machine makes upon attempting to start.

May want to check the door switch. Sometime the easy test is to push down on the center of the frame over the center of the door. Can always check the error codes.
