electrolux dishwasher model EWDW6505GSO doesn't drain well

I moved into this house, nice appliances but dirty. The dishwasher is the worse.  It washes and drains enough to not over flow. I have tried commercial dishwasher cleaners but results are marginal. At the end of wash cycle the dishwasher appears not drained. I have looked on YouTube , with out luck.

I want to take apart the course drain, but the screw heads are an odd hex shape, that I don't have.  The course filter needs scrubbed, and lower assembly inspection.

I looking for advice on cleaning and solving drain issue

thanks for your input

The screws that hold the half round filters that hold the fine filter screen in place are just your standard torx head(Star) screws.

You can get a small kit of all size torx head safety bits, (they have a hole down center for the special safety type that have a peg in the middle of the star), from Harbor Freight Tool stores for about $6-$7 or figure out what size it is, (they are sized as T10, T15, T20, etc.), and just buy a single bit or a torx screw driver of just that size.

Here's the kit from Harbor Freight Tools, ($5.99)
