Bosch SHE863WF2N/11 dishwasher stops mid-cycle with blinking display

Hi, boys and girls.  Just found this site and hopefully it can deliver as advertised.....   2018 (new purchase) Bosch dishwasher won't complete wash cycle.  We've been using AUTO since day one, with no issues.  Now, it suddenly goes south.  AUTO starts with 209 minutes on the display, runs for while down to 145 to 134 (it differs) then pauses and the display blinks.  I push START and the thing continues until its next pause-point, which varies.  START again, continue again.  We play this game down to 0:01 where it locks.  By that I mean it stays at 0:01, runs, but never advances to DONE. Eventually, the display will blink 0:01, at which point I can push START again, and the loop continues.  Holding START for 3 seconds (Bosch's reset) will cause machine to drain and shut down, as intended. The same scenario plays out with cycle selection of CLEAN 30, except that for this cycle, it will run down to 0:01 and then locks (blinking 0:01)...and again, holding START for 3 seconds will drain and shut down the beast.  ANY suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated.  It looks digital to me (what are the odds), but I guess it could be a sensor or something.  Online parts lists don't show any PC boards, so I'm not optimistic for the DYI outcome, but I'd sure like to avoid some undertrained, part swapping, uber-geeek and a repair bill only intended to drive me toward a new purchase.  Help.

Following your supplied instructions, the console displayed the following:  E:00.   In response to your initial question regarding the blinking lights, the blinking occurs with the display.  None of the button indicator lights blink, only the display LED.  I have, upon further surmising, arrived at a possible cause/solution.  Since I have always suspected a detector/sensor issue, I speculated that the movement of the machine during activity, though minimal, may be affecting some sensory function of the machine.  My first guess/test was with the door seal.  To test, I placed two clamps at the upper corners of the door (lightly) and ran the AUTO cycle.  Problem gone.  I then ran the CLEAN30 cycle.  No issue.  I removed the clamps and re-ran the AUTO cycle.  No issue.  Ran the CLEAN30 cycle.  No issue.  It's got to be a detector in the door/body relationship...if there is one.  I'm gonna put it back, order some new hinges and hope for the best.  Thanks for your time on the feedback.

The new hinges did the trick.  Lesson:  Beware of accidental or incidental downward door pressure.  Don't let the door drop.  Thanks for the interest.
