GE Cafe Microwave Model number CVM2072SSM3SS touchpad lights failing

The lights on the touchpad of my GE over the range microwave seem to have a connection problem and either won't illuminate at all or only light up very dimly. I have taken the panel off the microwave and cleaned the ribbon connectors at the circuit board, but that didn't work.  My microwave still works and the panel touchpad works...it just won't light up (so we have to use a flashlight to see the touch keys).  It seems to be a connection problem, but I don't know where.  Any guidance is appreciated

Youll need a new PCB control part number wb07x11306 . Unfortunately the part is showing out of stock at marcone so you might want to shop around.   it's listing for around 580.00 usd
