I accidentally hit the power button the other day instead of reset. I couldn’t get it to turn back on for about 4 hours. When I pressed power button on control panel it would just do a fast flash and turn back off. If I hold the power button it would just flash on and off but when release it wouldn’t stay on. Finally after a press it stayed on but really want to try and figure out what I need to order. The control panel is 5-600. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks Michael

Old service flash for this issue.

CUSTOMER CONCERN: Jenn Air and KitchenAid Built In Refrigerators Models: R4317485 June 2010 The Touch Sensor User Interface may fail to power up if the refrigerator loses power or the Cooling Off feature has been initiated. This is most likely to occur when the refrigerator is at a low temperature. (typically below 37°F) The customer will not encounter the fault unless the Cooling Off and On is cycled again. Pressing the Cooling On/Off button while in this failure mode can cause all the lights on the User Interface to briefly flash but not stay on. Upon recovery, the User Interface may typically flash the Over Temperature indicator and will operate normally.

CORRECTION: Change the user interface. Note: Check to make sure the user interface connections are tight and the refrigerator is plugged into a dedicated 3 prong 120 VAC polarized and grounded receptacle.

Correct?

Yes, the original had issue if it was turn off by the button on the panel. The new is not supposed to have that issue.
