I am having a problem with my stove. This has the LP conversion kit in it. The two front burners and the broiler are "swallowing the flame". What happens is I turn on one or all of these burners, after a period of time the flame is sucked back from the burner exterior, begins to burn inside the the burner assembly on the stove top and inside the burner tube on the boiler. This will not happen when baking or the two rear burners. This seems to be heat related, when first turned on no problem after about 4 minutes the broiler swallows the flame, the front two stove top burners take longer but will swallow the flame. One thing I have noticed is opening the stove door can make this happen, but it will do it on its own with out opening the door. The two burners on the top can run for some time with out a problem but will swallow the flame too. Our stove is close to our kitchen door, and opening that door can cause it to happen, but some times it happens on its own. The flames look good with blue tips. My thought is to replace all nozzles on the stove, they have become clogged. Any other ideas?

Check the gas pressure, sounds like a restriction in the gas line somewhere.

Thought about that but higher BTU propane appliances not having a problem (water heater and dryer). Is there is some sort of a screen on the stove inlet?

Yes and a regulator as well.

The regulator was replaced once but the real problem was the carbon igniter on the broiler. The stove is the first appliance on the gas line in the house, the other appliances are  the drier and water water, they are working fine. I expect the screen to be in front of the regulator, I will pull the stove and look for anything in the screen tomorrow.

Thanks for the quick replies.
