Thanks. Are there any kind of shims that open up and close?.. I see how it rotates on that shim and can lift that door some, yet if at all possible id like to avoid taking door completely off.  Not sure I can lift enough to toss shims under and put back on without remove the door itself.  Seems to be a great plan though, yet would love if It could be done without disassembly.

If your brave just cut the plastic washer, some washer are very flexible some are brittle.

Great idea... I shall give that a shot. Thanks

I ordered a lot of various sizes spacers from Amazon, so we shall see .. Though when I was looking at it, I was wondering if I could have someone hold the door in position, while I removed the hinge at bottom, slapped some spacers on it and re attached and then drop door right on it.

For all that effort it would be easier to just remove the door. I don't think there's even bolts at the top but just some type of lever lock.

Your right, that would be easier. Just concerned as there are wires, water lines etc to take off. Hell the hinge could break up there. Just don't want to take the chance of messing anything up that isn't.  But your absolutely right l, ultimately that would be the simplest thing overall.  Just wish I new why, with both hinges working, nothing cracked etc, why is that door seemingly lower. I hate things being done without an answer as to why the issue in the first place . It will forever haunt my dreams.

Spacers will be here tomorrow, so this weekend I'll end up doing something.

As always, thanks so much for all your help and suggestions.

To be continued.

Today I had a Hisense SDBM fridge with a bent hinge. Is there a noticeable difference in distance between the top of the freezer drawer and the bottom of each hinge? Maybe a scuff on top of the freezer drawer? I'm just trying to think of anything else it could be.

Good thought .. yet I see absolutely no visible signs anything is off.  Left door is still even with the right as it has always been. Sometimes I think a stink of dynamite is the best solution here.

Just wondering if you ever got this fixed? This appears to be a huge issue across the board with many of the Samsung fridges. Mine is doing the exact same thing. I tried adding some 1/2 backer rod and it ended up sitting too high and when i closed the door, the gasket would fold up. When i cut the backer rod in half, it didn't do enough. There didn't seem to be an exact sweet spot, but I, like you, can see light coming from around the gasket when shined up the chute.  My ice box is also has a crack in it.. seems like another issue a lot of people have.  The gaskets are like $50 from Samsung, and I'm having trouble justifying that for such a common issue that they aren't willing to admit to.

No never did. Did what was suggested Plus so many more things. I finally just had enough and shut off the ice maker via front panel and bought a countertop ice maker.  Best idea ever, just couldn't take it anymore.  Id highly suggest you do the same and save your blood pressure and sanity.  Sorry I didn't have any better news.

Dang, that's what I was afraid of! But I really appreciate your reply! I took off the flapper and cleaned that all up.. Tried taking the seal off the door to see if it needed to be reseated, broke one of the clips holding it down.. but it's not going anywhere, so i'm ignoring that.  Funny thing is, I try shutting off the ice maker on the screen, and after about 2 hours it turns itself back on.

Wow, can't shut off ice maker. If that happened to me after I decided to end the madness I'd probably take a stick of dynamite to it.  After cooler heads prevailed, and turning it off didn't stay off, id unplug the ice maker behind that left panel. I would imagine that would shut it all down.  Odd the off indicator doesn't stay off though.  Have you tried locking the panel to see if that works. As you know it's really easy to bump the panel.  We still use it for water dispensing though, yet as said, ice maker retired. Screw that thing all to hell, just had enough. Spent way to much money, time and frustration on that piece of shit. Thankfully the rest of the system still works good, knock on wood.
