BOSCH SHU33A06UC/46 Heater/Control Module Wiring Question

Recommended Posts

Bosch SHU33A06UC/46 was taking several (>5) hours to complete cycle, inside of dishwasher was still wet at end of cycle. Diagnostic Mode showed Code 1 (Heater Problem) .

I removed the Control Module from the door and re-soldered the heater relay pin as per another post on this forum (see link) and on You-Tube.

I would like to confirm that the heater is now working.  I have seen comments to use an ammeter on the red wire coming from the Control Module.  Is that the thicker gauge wire that is paired with the Grey/Black wire coming from the On/Off switch?.  Is there any way that I could get a partial schematic for this dishwasher? (I am a DYIer, fairly proficient with electronics and electrical, but I'm not a professional, so don't really qualify for accessing the manuals/schematics section of this forum).

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

The red wire from the on/off switch goes over to the module, then another red wire from the module comes down the door to go underneath to the heater.  If your still in doubt just pull out the dishwasher and remove the right side panel. That will give you access to the heater assembly and a place to take measurements.
