I've got a Kenmore Bosch that I picked up the other day of Facebook marketplace that looked like it was in good shape. Previous owner said it was giving a e24 error every once in a while but other than that worked fine, they just wanted to update the kitchen and got a whole new set.

Onto the actually issue, brought it home, got it hooked up, it fills, runs for a minute or so, and then immediately drains. Refills, washes again for a minute then drains and then throws a e17 error.

According to google this is a overfill error? Water doesn't seem to be coming out the front, not does it seem to be actuating the float switch. So I'm not sure how it sees that it's "overfilling"

Possible bad board? Or something else I'm missing?

Model number

630.12643611

Any help or tips appreciated.

Model number doesn't pull anything up at sears parts direct.

Yeah, I couldn't find any info on this unit when I tried to look it up myself, and my local part store couldn't find it in their system either.

I did end up finding a solution to it though. After digging around some online forums I found out that dishwashers are suppose to have a little black washer in the water solenoid just behind the little inlet filter. The washer acts as sort of a "flow restrictor" not allowing the water to gush in.

When I was checking things over on the dishwasher I noticed that the washer was missing from my water valve.

I opened up a spare cracked dishwasher valve I had around the house and put it in the valve in my dishwasher. Works great now!
