Hello,

After researching possible solutions for my water level problem I ordered and replaced the water-level pressure switch with a new kit but it did not resolve my issue. After installing the new switch and line, I selected the lowest level but the tub continued to fill beyond the smallest wash level. I have a Kenmore Model # 110.20902. What other part or solution could resolve my issue?

BTW: I read replacing the water inlet valve night be involved but I already did that within the last six months and everything worked fine until I noticed the water level had changed the last two washes to a large load only. In fact, the water looked above the large level during my last wash.

I would appreciate any insight.

My son did some research and I am going to check and clean the drain basket, which may impact the water level. I have not found any videos for my model, but I have the general concept from new model analysis' on YouTube. Can anyone share photos or knowledge about the drain basket on my older model #110.20902? Our house is fed with well water, and I recently changed the clogged water value part, so I presume this may be the issue. Perhaps my water level switch was not the issue in the first place?

I would recommend calling a service company to come out and thoroughly diagnose the washer. Sometimes these issues can be quite complex, and a trained technician can help find resolution.

Check that the air dome to which the pressure tube connects on the the outer tub isn't clogged with mineral residue from your hard water.  Also check the pressure tube for a pinhole air leak and that its secure to the air dome and water level switch.

1) If you can turn the machine off and water continues to run, and you have to turn the spichet off to make it quit the valve is bad.

2)Make sure the new rubber hose isn't pinched between the cabinet and rear panel where it starts down

3)As already stated there could be a blockage down in the tub on the air dome prohibiting correct air pressure from entering the tube. Run some water in the tub. Remove the tube from the switch and blow through the hose . This will makes bubbles in the tub and also usually dislodge any debris that may be accumulated.

4) take your old hose and connect it to the new switch. Turn on and start running water. Blow through the hose and this will cause water to stop and the machine will agitate as long as pressure is kept in the hose.
