LGWM3470HWA Front Load Washer

Wash cycle stopped and it would not drain...made odd noises when drain cycle started.  I stopped the cycle and the door would not unlock.  I had to unplug the washer to 3-4 minuted and when i plugged back in and turned on it reset and the door unlocked.  Removed clothes and tried to drain again...odd noises again and no water movement.

 1. I assume the pump is bad but wanted to ensure that was the correct diagnosis.

2.  I replacing a pump easily doable?

Lets start with the easy stuff first, already cleaned the pump filterz? Small door lower left side front of washer. If that is clean then the drain pump is the most likely issue.

Thanks. Yes I’ve done that. Appreciate quick response. Hardest part of working on the washer is getting the gasket retainer back on.

Checked the pump assembly and all hoses for blockage…all was clear. Replaced pump and washer working normally.
