Anyway to easily get the front control cover off of a Whirlpool Duet Washer - GHW9100LW1?

The "Hold to Start" switch is broken on my Whirlpool Duet washer GHW9100LW1.  Of course the dryer is stacked on top of it.

Is there an easy, non-destructive way to get the control cover off to access the switch without removing the dryer?  

Unfortunately, I think I know the answer but I didn't want to assume.

As you all know, front panel will not come off without taking off the top.

Did that and now it looks like the controller is dead.  I'll open another thread for that problem.
