WRT134TFDW00 Whirlpool Refrigerator Door Hinge

Go to solution Solved by Budget Appliance Repair,

Hello Appliantologists,

The problem is with the refrigerator door.  The hole where the upper hinge enters the door has enlarged.  The door sags about 1/8" and no longer seals on the side opposite of the hinge.  Is there a part that I can insert into the door to tighten up the hole and raise the hinge?

Thank you!

I did not mean raise the hinge, rather raise the door so that it seals properly

Go to the hardware store they have plastic washer in different sizes and thicknesses. Use them as shims to raise the door.

Go to your preferred hardware store and pick up a bag of nylon washers. Same thing that Whirlpool will sell you for a fraction of the price.
