Any interest in upgraded firmware/wash cycle for newer "high efficiency" washers?

I picked up a 2017 Amana "high efficiency" washing machine off Craigslist the other day, which simply doesn't wash as well as the older ones do. It barely agitates and is extremely stingy with the water fill. I've heard others complain about these junky machines and now I see what they mean. It even has a special wash cycle specifically designed for "cleaning the washer" i.e. getting the musty, nasty smell out of it which now accumulates, along with a special cleaning solution to buy, of course. Lame.

I'm going to reverse engineer this washer's controller firmware and write new code to upgrade the wash cycle, so that it washes as well as older machines. Would there be any interest among you gentlemen in doing such an upgrade on yours or your customers' washing machines, if it were available for a reasonable price? Thanks for any feedback.
