Where does the Evaporator Drain Pan on a ZISS420DRJSS actually drain to?

I have a GE Monogram built in model ZISS420DRJSS.   In some of the manuals and diagrams I see the Evaporator Drain pan is connected to a hose.  I've heard that this hose can get plugged, but I'm wondering where does the hose actually go to?   I thought it might drain to a pan under the fridge, but when I looked, I didn't notice a pan under there.  Can anyone tell me where the drain pan hose actually drains the melted water to?

Thank you in advance for any help!

The drain pan receives the defrost water from the evaporator. Then warm air is blown across the pan and the water evaporates into the air.

Pretty sure he might know that already

I think the specific question is - "Where is that said pan that the defrost water goes to located?"

I've never worked on one of these built-in GE Monogram units so have no idea, If I recall correctly if it's SxS then the evaporator is in the roof of the freezer so the pan would have to be down in back or underneath at back and attached with a tube coming from the freezer evaporator pan that is directly holding the evaporator and drain.

Hi William, thank you for rephrasing it,yes, that is my specific question.  The evaporator is in the top part of the freezer. In an exploded view drawing, I can see that once heated, the defrost water drips into a pan directly underneath, that has a hose attached.  That hose seems to go into the wall between the Freezer and Fresh Food sections.   The hose appears to be about 6" long and at the end is a part called a "Flapper Valve Assembly p/n WR02X12062".  But from there I can't see where the water ultimately ends up, or any other parts in the exploded view that might hold the water until it eventually evaporates into the air outside the fridge.

Thank you both for the replies!

Seem I missed that part. The drain pan for this refrig is underneath the compressor. Yes the compressor is on top of this builtin, item #711 in picture.

Thanks Vance.  I think I get it now.   I thought the Freezer portion ended at the top of the freezer door, but I see now that it extends up into the top compartment area (right behind the Main Board), so the Evaporator must be sitting slightly higher than the tray under the Compressor.   I do see a rubber hose extending from that freezer section behind the Main board over to the pan you pointed out under the compressor, so that must be it.  I think my hose must be plugged up as I never see any water there.   I'll try thawing out the fridge and see if I can get to the defrost pan and clean out that hose.

Many thanks for all your help!

I would have never thought it was on top under the compressor - I haven't seen one of these units but from what I've read in the forums here - I was pretty sure the compressor compartment was on top like other built-ins and never had a clue that the freezer compartment interior would go up higher then the refrig side and be able to drain into the compressor compartment on top.
