Hi - we have a whirlpool refrigerator with a non-working light - part number WPW10515058.  I ordered a new part. When I plugged it in, it flickered for a few minutes and then stopped working entirely. This is the most over-engineered thing I've ever seen! The 'light' is actually circuit board with a number of components, chips and 4 LED lights. I suppose it's possible the replacement part was defective - so I'm going to return it for another one - but in the mean time I would hoping to get some advice. If anyone has any ideas on how I should proceed from here, it would be much appreciated! - Thanks!

The led modules for most of these whirlpool refrigs are in series.  Possible one of the other modules is the culprit. Post your model number.
