Whirlpool stacked YWET4024HW0 - No heat and washer only runs with dryer running

Hello Everyone!

Ran into a very troublesome conundrum trying to figure this one out and hoping someone here can help.

Issue started out with washer shutting off completely during the first few minutes of wash cycle. Tub would fill, begin agitation and then control panel would completely shut off after a few minutes. So, control board was replaced with no resolve. Now, the dryer runs but does NOT heat, and the washer will only complete a wash cycle with shutting off only with the dryer running. Thermal fuse is ok, element is ok, high-limit is ok, operating thermostat I believe is ok. A quick GOOGLE search with these symptoms (which brought me to this forum), directs me to check L1 and L2 voltage which are BOTH present. I am at a complete loss and looking for some more guidance.

Thanks!

***Correction should read "and the washer will only complete a wash cycle WITHOUT shutting off...."

All of the following voltages are present,  L1 to neutral and L2 to neutral are 120 vac,  L1 to L2 is 240 vac and if present L1 to ground and L2 to ground are 120 vac with everything in the off mode and when both are running?

Thanks SO MUCH for your reply.

The issue INDEED was insufficient voltage at L2 caused by a loose breaker leg/connection. Breaker replaced and torqued properly and unit is up and running again.
