My washer Fails to spin properly in diagnostic mode.    I was told it the hall sensor may be at fault but after removing the rotor and the stator there does not appear to be user serviceable hall sensor as seen in many videos online.  Any advice here would be greatly appreciated.

In the diagnostic mode spin at both hi and low speed fail? Does the basket spin free by hand and vertical play in the basket?

I had a repairman come look at it.  He said the bearings felt fine.  The basket does spin free, but in diagnostic mode fails to spin both high and low.  It tries, make a small whirring sound, over and over.

also, the machine is only two years old.  My repairman told me it likely needed a hall sensor, but the hall sensor apparently is not where it is on other machines (on the back of the stator).

LG has started using sensors of the drive circuit for position sensing.  Are the splines of the rotor ok, are there any cracked magnets on the rotor, do all the all the coils of the stator ohm out ok, wiring harness between the stator and cabinet have any loose connections or broken wires?

getting 11.3 ohms on all three coils, no damage or cracks to the magnets. splines look brand new.   Ill look into the harness..  I will need to unwrap it.

This washer has stumped two regular repair guys.  Now I am looking for a certified LG tech.
