Whirlpool Duet washer F1E1 error

If you're getting the f1e1 error code even after replacing the CCU, it means the CCU is (still) bad. Professor of Appliantology john63 gives us the poop on this one:

The F1 E1 error is a checksum error.

The MAIN BOARD is still at fault.

Checksum errors are "fatal errors".

The MAIN BOARD cannot verify internal data. (similar to being disoriented/confused)

Buy the replacement CCU with a 365-day return policy here ==> http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Control-Board/W10309219/1876151?RCAID=24038

I'm doing battle with one of these now.

I've  already replaced the CCU twice and it's still throwing F1E1 error codes.

I'm  about to try a 3rd.

So much wasted time.

Hope it works because 3 is my limit. Lol
