Basic Electricity Demonstrated on the Hoary Cliffs of Moher

Samurai Appliance Repair Man

In this video, filmed on the hoary Cliffs of Moher in Ireland, I demonstrate basic electrical principles, like voltage and current path, using an electric cow fence charged with 5,000 volts. See, even when I'm on vacation, I'm thinking of ways I can explain this stuff to y'all!

Very cool i was temped to test this in out here in texas with all the rain i had to go cut power to a dishwasher where the breaker box was on the side of a house where there were puddles of water, but i'm not crazy. Like that.

Probably a wise decision, Chris. The dielectric insulating strength of shoes drops of rapidly in the presence of both internal and external moisture. Sweaty feet + standing in a puddle = pretty good path to ground for current flow. Big yowee!
