  3. Kitchenaid refrigerator Model #KRFC300ESS01 not cooling. Put it in diagnostic mode and all fans & thermistors appear to be working. I'm pretty sure the start relay is also working, as it does appear that the compressor kicks on, but it's still not cooling. Is it possible that the compressor kicks on, but the issue is still with the start relay or associated capacitor? The only other thing I can think of is a refrigerant leak, and if that's the case it's not worth fixing, so thought I'd see if anyone here has any ideas. Here is a video of the compressor that starts just as the refrigerator is plugged in. There is a click about 30 seconds in, but the compressor does not come on. FF to the ~1:50 mark and you'll hear the compressor finally kick in about 2 min after plug-in. As far as I can tell, it's not cycling on and off (I'm not hearing tell-tale clicks), but I really can't be sure. Does this sound like normal operation, or am I missing something? Does this sound like a compressor low on refrigerant? It appears that it *may* be cooling the freezer compartment from room temp (~72F) to about 67F, but can't cool beyond that. TIA

  9. Looking for advice on replacing oven igniter in Bosch 500 series oven. Online videos show splicing the wires and connecting with ceramic wire nuts. Doesn't look there is any access to the oven igniter without disassembling quite a bit of the oven (gas lines, valves, convection fan, thermostat, etc...). Any suggestions or advice appreciated. The connector for the broiler igniter is in the open and accessible, don't see the oven igniter connector so I assume it is behind the back panel. Any advice or suggestions appreciated. Thanks

  27. Pretty sure it a normal R.H. Thread - I do think it maybe metric but don't know the size, (generally nuts that are used in applications such as this are really thin - like around only 1/16" to 1/8" thick).
