Kenmore Refrigerator model 10659212990. Water inlet valve 2206123. I bought a replacement water inlet valve 2206123. ...it's a triple solenoid model for a kenmore 10659212990. The incoming water supply goes to the brass nut - easy. But that's where I get confused. There's another solenoid (green) with a 1/4" port. I think this would go to the ice maker, and that's a 1/4" line that I can see running up the back of the fridge. So if I'm right, that knocks out 2 of the 5. So now I have 3 open ports on the 2206123 and they all appear to be 5/16". Coming from the fridge, there are 3 tubing lines bundled together before disappearing inside the fridge. 2 of them are 5/16" and the other is 1/4". How do I identify which tube goes into which port of the valve? (Unfortunately there are no documents on back of fridge or under front grate). It's an old fridge and no one seems to have any info on it. I'd appreciate it greatly if someone could help me out. Do I need to take the fridge apart to see where each of the 3 lines go? Hopefully not...thank you in advance...

It sounds like a few things might be going on but it's hard to tell from this video. The drain pump sounds loud so I would investigate that for a blockage or restriction. Check for any play between the spin basket and the tub as that would indicate a bearing or basket support arm failure. Pull the back panel off and look for signs of leakage from the basket drive shaft. There should be some technical information tucked under the top somewhere. I would look for error codes to see what the control board thinks is wrong and why it's limiting spin speed.

This would require a gear box replacement. The gear box is self contained and is not designed to be rebuilt. It includes the tub seal. Is there any lateral play between the tub and the basket? If so, then this would require replacing the basket as well. These machines were designed for economy, not longevity.

I have a Whirlpool top load washer that has became rather loud on the spin cycle and I’m pretty sure it’s due to a bearing going out. Do they sell a bearing kit for this model?

At first it was doing this intermittently and we thought it was a balancing issue. Now, it's every time. Although the machine does spin, it never spins fast and the clothes come out sopping wet. Doesn't matter how big the load is. I've tested it with one or two T-shirts and it still doesn't spin. Any ideas? Also, what is it that engages and makes that noise at 0:22 in the video?

Thanks for the help. There only 3 switches, the top should be NO (Primary) and the middle should be NC (Second), and the last should be NO (Door sensing)? What puzzles me that all the switches were the same and it still works.

No parts list, tech sheet comes up for this model on servicematters or anywhere.It is a good model number though!
