Pretty sure it a normal R.H. Thread - I do think it maybe metric but don't know the size, (generally nuts that are used in applications such as this are really thin - like around only 1/16" to 1/8" thick).

I took your advice and fabricated a mount for the substitute thermostat. But when I tried to find a nut that matched the threaded part of the shaft on the WR50X1008 to attach that mount, I've been unable to find any nut that will fit that thread. When i put a micrometer on the OD of the threads, it's slightly less than 3/8". So I first tried nuts for standard 3/8"nuts starting with standard 3/8" thread, fine-thread 3/8", and extra-fine thread 3/8. No joy. The closest metric seems to be M10. So I also tried nuts for M10 - 1.00, M10 - 1.25, and M1 - 1.50. None of the above would screw onto that shaft. (All the nuts I was trying were standard right-hand / clockwise to tighten thread rather than reverse / left-handed thread). Since I bought that thermostat on the "GE Store" of Amazon, I tried calling GE Customer Support. But all I got was a circular run-around with no chance to ever talk to anyone that might provide the thread spec. Does anyone have any idea what kind of nut threading would fit on the threaded part of that shaft? Imperial / Metric? Left-hand, right-hand thread? Some kind of tapered shaft? Some oddball, in-between-standard sizes thread? Etc. Thanks in advance for anyone that can point me in the right direction to get a nut that will fit and allow me to attach my mount?

@Captain Dunsel Thank you, I will take a look. Yes, having a drain problem. It does not throw the error code until 40-50 minutes into a wash cycle, at the end of wash cycle before it goes into a post rinse, I've had to check the chart to say for certain but when that happens it resets the control and kicks you out of the cycle. The drain pump is working and it seems to be draining well but possibly just barely above the port for the pressure sensor. Based on the service manual, we'll be looking at drain hose with check valve and then drain pump?

@Mesaman2124 Not sure that TB11-20 service bulletin exit? I guess you have a Drain problem.I believe your model uses the same pressure sensor talk about in this old thread.Take a look!

Looks like the main igniter for baking went out. Only glows a dim orange color and will not allow gas to flow. Looks like a pretty easy repair but the parts pricing is all over the place. From an OEM igniter costing over $140 down to an aftermarket costing like $30. Was thinking of going aftermarket...any thoughts ??
